Guest Speakers

Prof S. N. Singh is Professor (HAG), Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, India. Before joining IIT Kanpur, Prof. Singh worked with UP State Electricity Board, Roorkee University (now IIT Roorkee), Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand and as Vice-Chancellor of MMMUT Gorakhpur during April 2017 to July 2020. Dr Singh received several awards including Young Engineer Award 2000 of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Khosla Research Award of IIT Roorkee, and Young Engineer Award of CBIP New Delhi (India). Prof Singh is receipt of Humboldt Fellowship of Germany (2005, 2007) and Otto-monsted Fellowship of Denmark (2009-10). Prof Singh became first Asian to receive 2013 IEEE Educational Activity Board Meritorious Achievement Award in Continuing Education. He is also recipients of INAE Outstanding Teacher Award 2016 and IEEE R10 region (Asia-Pacific) Outstanding Volunteer Award 2016. 

Prof. Raghuraj Singh who is Professor & Head at Computer Science & Engineering Department of Harcourt Butler Technological University. He has done his B.Tech from HBTI, Kanpur, M.S from BITS, Pilani and Ph.D. from HBTI, Kanpur. He has more than 24 years of academic experience performing various duties including, Director, HOD, Controller of Examination, Registrar, Chief Proctor, Assistant Dean, Nodal Officer etc. He has also done a number of government projects. 

Dr Piyush Choudhary who is the Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer, ONGC, Delhi. Dr. Piyush has done his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from GBPUAT, Uttarakhand and Doctorate from IIT BHU. He has more than 20 years of multi functional industrial experience in Indian Oil & Gas Sector.  He has many publications in various Journals. Conferences and Seminars and has delivered expert lectures at esteemed organizations. Dr Piyush is a senior member of IEEE, USA, Corporate member of IEI, India and has many more certifications in his field.

Five Days Short Term Course by the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research Chandigarh

Five Days Short Term Course entitled “Green Manufacturing ” was organized by the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research Chandigarh . It was an ICT (Information and Communication Technology) based Short Term Course. KCC Institute was chosen as Nodal center for the above mentioned Programme and Mr Keshav Jha from Mechanical Department Coordinated the program.  This workshop focused on the different aspects of Sustainable Green Manufacturing. The importance of sustainability concepts were discussed in detail .The workshop helped the participants to understand the basics of sustainable green manufacturing and its three pillars viz. environment, economy, and society.

A Seminar on Open Education Resources in Media Studies by Dr. Durgesh Tripathi, Professor of GGSIP University, Delhi was organised by KCC Institute of Legal & Higher Education for the students of BA(JMC) First & Second Year. Dr. Tripathi contributions can be exemplified by three Major Research Projects, first as a Co-Principle Investigator of Communication & Media Studies, second for OER (e-PG Pathshala) & third he is Course Coordinator MOOCs Paper of Society & Media, an e-learning initiative by Government of India.The students gained a lot from enriching session.

Performances by Celebrities – KCC Fuel 2020

Fuel 2020 celebration featuring Parmish Verma, was organized at KCC Institutes, where ever-time hit Punjabi numbers were performed upon.

Punjabi actor, singer and director and considered heart-throb among youth, Parmish raised the musical heat with his electrifying songs like ‘Gaal ni Kadni’, ‘Kache pakke yaar, Asi Pinda Wale Jatt, Sab fde jaange, dil diya gallan and many more. Noting the energy and emotions among the students’ crowd, youth-icon Parmish Verma conversed with students for added recreational outputs, and also shared his experiences of hard-work to rise in life.

"Prayas- we stand for you" the Community Connect Society of KCCILHE concluded its collection drive “Daan Utsav" by visiting Goonj- an NGO for the underprivileged along with the students and faculty members . Contributions in the form of clothes, toys, books etc. were made by the people associated with KCC Institute for the drive. It was an enriching experience for the students as they witnessed the process of waste to wonder. They went through the whole segregation process and learnt how this organisation further distributes the items among the underprivileged people pan India.
