Guest Lecture 'Emerging Dimensions in Law of Tort'

In order to acquaint students with the law of tort, a guest lecture was organized by KCCILHE on the topic 'Emerging Dimensions in Law of Tort'. The Eminent Speaker, Former District and Sessions Judge and at present Legal Advisor, Ministry of Home Affairs, GOI - Mr. R B Sharma began his insightful lecture by enumerating his experiences as a Judge and inspiring students to prepare for Judicial services. He also informed the students about natural law and how it is written by the fingers of God in the human heart. He then described the law of tort and its emerging dimensions through numerous cases and examples which made the session very interactive and interesting. The seminar proved to be a wonderful learning experience for the students who were able to gather valuable insights.

Safarnama 2023

NSS Unit of KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education participated in “Safarnama 2023” an Event organised by the NSS Unit of Indian Institute of Technology (IIIT) Delhi. In this event, NSS Volunteers elaborated the work done by their institute under National Service Scheme (NSS) for the Academic year 2022-2023. The motive behind this event was to share the ideas among NSS volunteers for innovative ways to contribute towards society. NSS Volunteers -Vansh Gupta, Khushi Kohli, Nikhil Biju, and Ankur Goyal from KCCILHE presented their work to the audience. This Participation gave students a great learning experience and chance to see the work done by fellow volunteers from institutions such as IIT Delhi, Ramjas, Maitreyi College, Hansraj, Hindu college and many others.

Seminar on 'Youth Lead Entrepreneurship and Impact on Society'

Bizhive- The entrepreneurship society of KCCILHE organised a seminar on 'Youth lead entrepreneurship and impact on society' on 21 March 2023. The eminent speaker, Mr Amitabh Tiwari, Chief Executive Officer, Ossify Industries Pvt. Ltd. interacted with students and motivated them to come up with an idea which can solve some problem prevailing in the society. He said entrepreneurs are often known as a source of new ideas or innovators, and they bring new ideas to the market by replacing old with a new invention. If students will take initiative, they will go a long way and would feel pride in contributing to the socio-economic development of the country. He motivated students to make decisions, to work on their own decisions with full conviction and to never accept defeat with failure. Mr. Amitabh answered the queries of students and the seminar ended with a positive impact on participants.

Say no to Plastic Campaign

Prayas-The Community Connect Society of KCCILHE in association with NSS Units organized “Say no to plastic campaign” to spread awareness and celebrate India’s presidency of G-20.

The Campaign started with a flash mob dance performance followed by a Nukkad Natak based on the theme” NO PLASTIC IS FANTASTIC". Prayas Society conducts this drive frequently to create awareness among students and nearby communities about the harmful effects of single use plastic  and to motivate them to replace plastics with environment friendly alternatives. The campaign was assuredly a successful event.

Yoga Mahotsav 2023

NSS Volunteers of KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education attended the Yoga Mahotsav curtain raiser event for IDY -2023. They attended a workshop at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi. The workshop was conducted by the MDNIY, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India as a part of 100 days countdown to Yoga Day Programme. The event emphasized the role of Yoga in maintaining health and well-being in our lives.

TechBuzz 6.0

Technical society – TechStar of KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education organised TechBuzz 6.0 – a quizzing event on 15.03.2023. The quiz was based on the theme: G-20 presidency and current affairs related to IT and Business. Students form BCA, BBA, B. Com (H), BA-JMC, BA-LLB (H) and BBA-LLB (H) participated in the quiz competition. The quiz contained two rounds, first round was online and participants were required to attempt 25 MCQs. Eight out of 103 students qualified round 1. Four teams of two members each played round 2. Questions was displayed on PPT and only 60 seconds were given to each team to answer the question. Team B (Celine – BA-JMC I year and Saurav Kaushal – BBA I year) got highest marks in round 2 and declared as winner.

Online National Level Debate Competition

Vansh Shiv Neelan from Amity University and Sanchit Singh Bhandari from KCCILHE together won  Online National Level Debate Competition on the theme “DO WE REQUIRE CENSORSHIP IN OTT PLATFORM?” organized by Bibliophile-The Literary Society of KCC Institute of Legal & Higher Education, Greater Noida . 

Participants from Institutions all over India presented a wide spectrum of contrasting views on the topic. Holi Celebration 2023

An incredible Holi celebration took place in KCC campus on 6 March 2023.  It was an absolute blast! The entire campus was beautifully decorated with colorful handmade frills, kites, flowers and backdrops by Art Attack-The Art & Craft Society of KCCILHE.   The celebration kicked off with a folk dance performance by the Sway- the Dance Society, followed by a melodious band performance by Melomania-Music Society where students showcased their creativity. The event courtyard was an amalgamation of enthused students who were splashing colours on each other, which brought everyone together and created a joyous atmosphere. The air was filled with the sweet aroma of delicious food and everyone enjoyed food along with dancing to DJ beats.

It was truly a memorable day, filled with laughter and joy.
