Faculty Development Program

KCC Institute of Legal & Higher Education conducted week-long Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) 15-01-2024  to 20-01-2024. The program aimed at equipping educators with a deeper understanding of the NSQF and its implications for contemporary education and skill development.

Following resource persons from industry and academic fields enlightened the faculty members on “NSQF”.

FDP was a comprehensive and enriching experience for all participants. Throughout the week, participants engaged in insightful discussions and collaborative sessions led by experts in the field. The FDP delved into the intricacies of NSQF levels, qualifications, and the alignment of educational programs with industry needs. The participants gained valuable insights into effectively implementing NSQF principles in their respective institutions, fostering a more holistic and skill-oriented approach to education. 

The week served as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and the cultivation of strategies to enhance the quality and relevance of education in accordance with the NSQF framework.

• As New Education Policy, “NEP 2020”, has brought several changes in the education system, which should be addressed appropriately. This FDP also aims to address New Education Policy 2020 in higher education from the teacher’s perspectives. 

• FDP aims to bring together leading academicians, researchers, and scholars to share experiences, opinions on quality assurance, and the emergence of a new economy.

• New age technologies (different software that can be used to make online teaching interesting for learners).

• Times management while teaching online.

• Enhancing communication skills for online teaching.

• Impact of moral values, ethics, and behavioural science on attitudinal development of the professional (emotional intelligence). 

• Spirituality in management education.

• Research: how to embark on the journey to do research.
