KCCILHE organised an industrial visit to National Fertilizers Limited, Panipat, for its students on 6 and 8 September 2023. Visit to the state-of-the-art fertilizer production facility was an excellent complement to the students academic studies, offering a practical understanding of the concepts they learn in the classroom.
During the Visit, the students were taken through various units, including the ammonia and urea manufacturing units, quality control labs, and packaging facilities. The tour offered a comprehensive view of the entire production process, from raw materials to the final product. It was an eye-opening experience for the students to witness the precision and technology involved in the production of fertilizers.
NFL is committed to environmental sustainability, and students were also briefed on the company initiatives in this regard. They learned about the importance of responsible manufacturing practices, waste management, and reducing the environmental footprint of fertilizer production. The industrial visit to National Fertilizers Limited, Panipat, was a resounding success. It exposed the students to the intricacies of the fertilizer industry, the importance of responsible production, and the potential career opportunities in the sector.
