KCCILHE - School of Law organised a Talk session by Prof. Ritu Gupta, Professor of Law from National Law University on the topic Law and Common Sense on 18 April 2022. The session helped the students understand how law touches our lives in daily routine and plays an elementary role in our social, political and economic existence. Students understood that irrespective of their academic background, awareness is necessary as ignorance of laws is not an excuse. Prof. Gupta explained that laws are created to serve society and shape morals; promote peace, create public policies and facilitate freedom and how laws help society in functioning smoothly as without law there would be total chaos and it would be survival of the fittest.
