She is an experienced professor with a demonstrated history of working in the media teaching, training and research. She holds a PhD in Media and Elections from School of International Studies, JNU. She is an author of several books on Advertising, Corporate Communication, Social Sector and Media & Elections with the publishers such as OUP, Sage & Rupa.  She is a contributor in Sage Encyclopaedia on Corporate Reputation. She has been doing consultancy for various UN organizations. She has conducted a seminal research on the portrayal of Women in Advertising (2018-2019). She is a visiting faculty to several institutions such as Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, National Judicial Academy in Bhopal, Power Management Institution etc. She has conducted more than 150 training programs for the industry including CEOs on Media and related subjects. She has served as the Course Director of  Advertising & Public Relations Department at Indian Institute of Mass Communication Delhi. She is on the Board of Studies of some Universities in both Public & Private domains. She is a senior ICSSR Research Fellow at the Indian Council of Social Sciences Research.
