Seminar on “Risk Management in Banking Industry”

School of Commerce, KCC Institute of Legal & Higher Education organized a seminar on “Risk Management in Banking Industry” on 21 April 2023 to make students aware about the Risk Management vertical of Banking Industry. Resource person for the day was Ms Mehak Sharma, Assistant Vice President, Axis Bank. Speaker started her talk with a basic introduction of Risk Management and later on covered Gamut of Risks like credit risk, operational risk, market risk, liquidity risk, reputation risk, concentration risk and country risk etc. Further she elaborated Country risk and its components in detail. She explained technical terms with real life examples through which students could relate fast. Speaker also talked about career options and skill set requirements for the domain. Talk session was followed by a Q & A round where students very inquisitively had all their queries answered.

KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education organised a practical field study

Photography is the language of communication. In this visual language too, words, vocabulary, grammar are important. Each photograph speaks a thousand words . With this aspect of photography, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication of KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education organised a practical field study visit at Humayun’s Tomb for the students to understand the concepts and esthetics of Still photography. The students used the different properties and components of the camera as well as the rules of photography and learned the skill of capturing pictures using different compositions to understand the concept of Architecture Photography. The students learned a lot from this visit.

Industrial Visit to HAIER Appliances India Private Limited

KCC Institute of Legal & Higher Education, Greater Noida organized an Industrial Visit to HAIER Appliances India Private Limited, Gr. Noida on 17 April 2023 for students of BBA and BCOM(H). This visit enabled them to understand the functioning and overall processes of household electronics/ consumer durables. The visit started with a presentation followed by the plant tour. Students got in-depth knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing processes of AC and Refrigerators by visiting and observing everything live. Students got the opportunity to experience the assembly lines and each step of assembly of these home appliances.  This visit was highly instructive and useful for understanding how a manufacturing plant operates and how each created product is verified several times before being packaged and sent to retail locations. Through this factory tour, students understood the importance of quality by observing the concept of 6S, Zero error, 100% uptime etc. Visit also gave exposure to innovative products which Haier is bringing to make our homes smart through IOT and automation.
